Drug Destruction
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration requires entities that can legally have controlled substances in their possession, to dispose of unwanted or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances in accordance with federal guidance. This guidance requires entities to transfer the unwanted or unused controlled substances to an authorized collector. An authorized collector must be registered by the DEA for this function.
